Introducing

Native Old Fashioned

There is no cocktail as simple, yet so complex as the Old Fashioned recipe.

While the Old Fashioned cocktail has seen a surge in popularity since coming to prominence as Don Draper's tipple-of-choice in the HBO series Mad Men, the question of 'how to make old fashioned cocktails' certainly isn't anything new or trendy – in fact, the Old Fashioned cocktail recipe is of such an historic age that it earned its name in or around 1880. You know it's a seriously old fashioned drink when it was already considered old nearly a century and a half ago!

Traditionally one of the most distinguished bourbon cocktails, our gin equivalent of this old fashioned drink is a funny old thing – dry as a bone, despite its sugary make-up, and deliciously rich. We think it is probably the best way to drink our barrel aged gin.

OLD FASHIONED INGREDIENTS:

• 60ml Natural Distilling Co Barrel Aged Hemp Gin

• 1 sugar cube

• Orange bitters

HOW TO MAKE AN OLD FASHIONED:

• Place a sugar cube into a rocks glass
